Your Responsibilities

We are looking for engaged monthly substitutes for our municipal home care! As a care assistant/certified nursing assistant in home care, you will make a real difference for others and work in a meaningful environment. You will:

  • perform care work in people's own homes
  • contribute to a positive and professional environment with joy and good collaboration
  • assist with personal care and hygiene, cleaning the client's home, support during meals, walks, and light cooking

It is important to be independent and able to make responsible decisions in various situations.

The workday constantly varies when you work with people, requiring quick adaptation, innovative thinking, and creativity. You will work as a certified nursing assistant/care assistant in home care as a monthly substitute. This means that you are employed for a limited time and work according to a schedule over an extended continuous period.

About the Workplace

The main mission of the Social Administration is to provide individualized support and services in elderly care, disability services, children and family, adults, and financial assistance. We are here for the residents of the municipality through all stages of life.

We at Nynäshamn's municipal home care are dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive work environment. With us, you will have the opportunity to be challenged and develop while contributing to the well-being of our residents. We are about 90 employees responsible for providing home care services to 220 clients in ordinary housing. In addition to regular home care, we also have a security patrol and a night patrol to ensure care and safety around the clock.

What We Are Looking For in You

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • education as a certified nursing assistant or other relevant healthcare education
  • basic computer skills
  • good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
  • good cycling habits
  • a B driver's license and good driving experience

The minimum age for the position is 18 years.

It is advantageous if you have:

  • protected professional title for certified nursing assistant
  • experience working in home care
  • experience with social documentation
